1. Introduction
These Terms govern your use of RupeePeople’s asset discovery services, website, and mobile application. By engaging RupeePeople, you agree to these Terms.
These Terms incorporate our Privacy Policy (Version 2.0), aligned with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act). Your statutory rights under the DPDP Act prevail over any conflicting provision in these Terms.
2. Nature of Service
RupeePeople provides asset discovery — bank accounts, PF, mutual funds, shares, IEPF, insurance, employer dues, and related documentation and claim guidance.
We do not provide legal representation, financial advice, tax advisory, or guaranteed asset recovery.
3. Eligibility & Age
You must be at least 18 years old, or a legal guardian or authorised representative acting with lawful authority (including for deceased persons’ estates or minor heirs). We may request proof of identity, age, and legal authority.
4. Data Protection & Consent
You acknowledge our Privacy Policy and consent to processing for asset discovery as described therein. You agree to provide accurate data and confirm your legal right to request discovery.

5. Client Responsibilities
Provide accurate information and required documents; respond promptly; use discovered information responsibly; ensure documents are legitimate.
6. Scope of Discovery
Discovery depends on documents provided, portal availability, and institutional cooperation. We cannot guarantee all assets will be found.
7. Timelines
- Medical Emergency: 7–10 days
- Job Loss: 5–7 days
- Post-Death: 3–6 weeks
- Divorce/Legal: 2–4 weeks
- Inheritance Dispute: 4–8 weeks
8. Fees & Payment
Fixed fees only — no percentage cuts. Ranges: Post-Death ₹4,999–₹19,999; Medical ₹999–₹5,999; Job Loss ₹1,999–₹9,999; Divorce/Legal ₹5,999–₹29,999; Inheritance ₹9,999–₹39,999. Fees are non-refundable once discovery work begins, except where required by law.
9. No Guarantee of Recovery
We do not guarantee recovery of funds, claim approval, or legal outcomes. Recovery depends on third-party institutions.
10. Limitation of Liability
Liability is limited to fees paid for the service, except where limitation is prohibited by law. Nothing here limits your DPDP Act rights.
11. Reports & Evidence
Reports are for personal use, claim filing, and legal consultation. RupeePeople retains ownership of report format and structure.
12. Termination
We may terminate for fraud, abuse, unclear eligibility, or non-payment. You may terminate anytime; data handling follows our Privacy Policy upon termination.
13. Changes
We may update these Terms; material changes will be posted on rupeepeople.com.
